Product Design from Zero to One

The United Metal project employed my full skill set from brand design to front end development using an Ember JS framework. Working closely with CEO and business leadership we identified potential competition and set out to create a brand and experience that differentiated itself in the scrap metal industry and also expressed appreciation for the organization’s Chinese roots as well as it’s responsibility as an eco-friendly recycling service.

The home page includes a hero carousel that displays real-time updates (powered by Quandi) on market price for the most common recycled metals. This information provides visibility to customers on pricing and builds trust and conveys a sense of partnership in the transaction.
