ClaimSearch Mobile App
Search Form
The initial landing screen for the ClaimSearch mobile app is the search by claim. This search form enables users to access their claim data while in the field. The target persona for this application includes Claims Adjusters, Law Enforcement and Special Investigators who spend considerable time away from their desktop but need claim data to confirm observations.
Camera
An image upload feature is also provided that allows the user to employ their mobile device’s camera to capture an image and attach that image to a specific claim (based on user access).
Voice Recorder
The Voice Recorder uses the mobile devices microphone to capture audio and attach it to a specific claim. Most common use cases for this feature include onsite interviews at Location of Loss and deposition statements. These recordings can be attached to a specific claim and can be accessed via the ClaimSearch Case Manager application.
Matching Claims
The initial action of search by claim returns the same matching claim results as the desktop application. An additional click on each search result will open further claim details similar to the desktop experience but scaled to consider mobile device environment.
VIN Decoder
Users can validate the VIN number of a vehicle from the initial search form (search button to the right of the input field). The results of this validation (powered by a third party VIN Decoder) will display a breakdown of the 16-17 character VIN number. This empowers user to validate VIN numbers while mobile or onsite at a specific Location of Loss.
VIN Decoder Details
An additional click on the individual elements of a VIN number will result in a detailed view which further informs the user and allows for deeper validation of a VIN.
