Bistro Marrakech

This was a very fun project where I was able to use a variety of skills including branding, design, photography, and development. The end product was a warm and inviting space for users to explore the menu and wines available at Bistro Marrakech. The owner is a close friend and this was his first solo adventure. We worked closely together to define an aestethic that embraced his Moroccan heritage but also provided flourishes of French bistro experience. Developed in Flash, the site is an immersive experience with sound, emotive images and video that illustrate the restaurant’s dining experience. It was a great deal of fun to craft an experience from the conversation and the back of a napkin and see it through to existence online.
